Pastor
 Pastor Marvin began his ministry at Baker Road Baptist Church on January 1, 1994. He has served as our Pastor for sixteen years. Prior to coming to Baker Road, he served as pastor of the First Baptist Church, Saluda, North Carolina.
He has also served as Minister of Music and Youth at Highland Baptist Church, Metaire, Louisiana, and as Associate Pastor, Minister of Youth at Cedar Bluff Baptist Church, Atkins, Virginia. Prior to that he served as an Evangelist.
Pastor Marvin received his B.A. Degree in Religion and Philosophy from Bluefield College, a Virginia Baptist College. He received his Master of Divinity Degree from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminiary in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he currently serves as a trustee. He has completed all work towards his Doctorate Degree with the exception of the Project in Ministry.
He and his wife, Melinda have three children. Hanna, a Junior at Ouachita Baptist University, Sarah, a Senior at Baytown Christian Academy, and Timothy, a Freshman at Baytown Christian Academy.
Pastor Rose has the heart of a pastor and the zeal of an evangelist.
