Music Director
 Melinda loves the Lord Jesus and enjoys music ministry. She has served as music director at Cedar Bluff Baptist Church, in Atkins, Virginia, First Baptist Church, Saluda, North Carolina, and here at Baker Road Baptist Church.
She is the wife of our pastor and they have 3 children, Hanna (20) a Junior at Ouachita Baptist University, Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Sarah (17) a Senior at Baytown Christian Academy, Baytown, Texas, and Timothy (14) a Freshman at Baytown Christian Academy.
Melinda received her A.A.S. degree from Wytheville Community College, her B.S. degree from Virginia Tech and her Master's degree from the University of Houston.
Melinda served as a Missionary Journeyman to Johannesburg, South Africa, through the International Mission Board of the SBC. She has served on the faculty of Bluefield College, a Virginia Baptist College, Wytheville Community College in Wytheville, Virginia and she has been on the faculty of Lee College, here in Baytown, for 13 years where she teaches in the field of Professional Office Technology.
